Prof. King Lun YEUNG is Professor of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and the Division of Environment as well as the Associate Director of the Environmental Engineering Program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He is editor of Chemical Engineering Journal from 2007. He has published more than 180 publications since obtaining his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, U.S.A. His current research focuses on: 1 - Chemical reaction engineering: Design, analysis and implementation of hybrid reactors and microreactors; 2 - Nanostructured materials for environmental and biological applications; 3 - Microchemical systems; 4 - Synthesis of advanced materials for inorganic membrane applications in separation and reaction.
